Serious Q - How is it allowed to fixture 2 soccer matches with a days rest inbetween? People constantly talking about equality in the game, yet our male eqivs don’t experience this? My own club team and most female teams are having to just accept this & get on with it? #ewfl #fai

Eastern Womens Football League FAI Women FAIreland Be great if this could be discussed as a priority. Player welfare and Injury prevention should be top of mind in the women’s game, fixing games with a days rest while people are also working full time is just not okay anymore. We deserve better!

Eastern Womens Football League almost a year later and nothing has changed. Zero consideration for player welfare and recovery. We’ve played a match on Monday, one tonight and are to play again on Sunday! It’s an absolute joke! This needs to improve If not this season at least do better next one.
