Such a useful model for understanding and supporting children and young people with trauma. I was introduced to this years ago and found it transformational. I wish it was taught in initial teacher training and SENCo courses.

100% attendance isn’t ‘high aspirations’ & setting ‘high standards’. It’s ableist, discriminatory and stigmatising. Our most vulnerable children are harmed & excluded by these expectations & standards. Their parents under constant pressure to ‘prove’ severity of difficulties.
