1st day at the office since the start of the pandemic and since starting at Crisis Group. Returning to in-person work, I have a newfound appreciation for this physical space and feel immensely thankful for the opportunity to finally, truly, meet my colleagues.
An engaging conversation between Janine di Giovanni and Suketu Mehta at McNally Jackson on the importance of diversity in the Middle East. Some really gripping stories included in her new book “The Vanishing” highlighting why we must do better to protect minorities in the region.

Such a great feeling to finally be at #Harlem’s historic apollotheater tonight for the world famous #AmateurNightApollo. After a two year hiatus, the uptown funk is back!
Truly honored and grateful to share my reflections on NYU Wagner here — a place that has given me the closest friends, a chance to work with great professors, and most importantly, a steadfast passion to make this world a better place. wagner.nyu.edu/news/story/stu…
Best part of last week was hearing from Chris Blattman about his new book Why We Fight. New York University’s William Easterly asked some very thought provoking questions on development & conflict, just as he always did in our class on African Economics. Thanks, DRI for hosting!
I've learned a lot as an @NYUniversity NYU Student Government Senator --especially about how universities must adapt to better serve student needs through the pandemic. Thanks NYU Wagner for choosing me to represent you and your voices this past year 💜🤍 #NYU2022
Was nice making a new friend Taylor Swift just before graduating last week. Thanks for being kind, and I really hope to see you at some NYU Alumni events soon! NYU Wagner New York University #NYU2022
A beautiful evening hearing from P. Sainath about his new book The Last Heroes: Food Soldiers of Indian Freedom. Very engaging discussion on India's 75th Independence Day, and its continued fight for freedom against inequality. Thanks SCMSophia for hosting! People's Archive of Rural India
Nostalgia and violet pride at the @NYUniversity alumni and prospective student event today! It’s lovely to see a few fellow NYU Wagner grads making a difference here in India too. Thanks NYU Alumni 💜
