The deterioration of respect for authority in culture has its root in a failure to respect the sovereign lordship of ultimate authority, the living God who is the Shepherd and authority of all of life. —Timothy Witmer #theshepherdleader

My son, keep my words and treasure up my commandments with you; keep my commandments and live; keep my teaching as the apple of your eye; bind them on your fingers; write them on the tablet of your heart. —Proverbs 7:1-3

Theological liberalism is theological liberalism regardless of who does it. Whether Andy Beshear and James Talarico’s use of Christianity for progressive ends, or Paula White analogizing Donald Trump to Jesus Christ, the end result is all the same: The distortion of orthodox

This is a terrible take and comparison. Yes, pray for our POTUS but don’t liken him to the Lord Jesus. Not shocked by a false teacher like Paula White but very concerned with a SBC pastor Dr. Jeffress and Franklin Graham clapping in support. Don’t sell out to political idolatry.

The return of Jesus is spoken of in the New Testament... More than 300 times In 23 of 27 books In 7 out of every 10 chapters In 1 out of every 30 verses God wants us to continually ponder on and prepare for Jesus's return. Come, Lord Jesus, come.

Somewhere along the way some have lost what it means to be part the SBC. We are cooperating churches. Many have turned to an “us” vs “them” mentality. It gets exhausting when you see followers of Christ doing the opposite of what Scripture teaches on social media. #SBC2026
