Prosthetists and orthotists are both autonomous registered practitioners who provide gait analysis and engineering solutions to patients with limb loss (prosthetists) and to patients with problems of the neuro, muscular and skeletal systems (orthotists) #AHPsDay

Plaster skills still form an important part of P&O clinician training but the theory which underpins these practical sessions is just as important. With a good understanding of tissue and biomechanics we can design sockets using either traditional plaster methods or with CAD.
