Tomorrow night is Strike Night in Ballarat. But its not the end of ASU members’ industrial action. Things are ramping up. Workers at Ballarat Council are struggling to pay their rent or mortgage and struggling at the supermarket. They need a decent pay rise.

Shit. I was just about to tweet this This game’s a good watch. Wouldn't be surprising if either team scored at any time. #AUSvCHN

One of my three favourite cricket things 1. The tension when the last decent batter has a session to bat with a tailender to claw their way to a draw 2. The joy of a beautiful cover drive 3. Spin bowling that makes your head involuntary shake in amazement

Perfect weather in Ballarst for chips, cheese and gravy for lunch. Also in Ballarat the weather is too shitty to head out from the office for chips, cheese and gravy.

Violent attacks on MP offices are reprehensible and must be condemned. Josh Burns and his team work hard for our local community. They have done nothing to provoke attempted arson on their place of work. All leaders should stand against violence such as this.

I love the people who stand right in front of the tram doors, blocking those trying to get off. They are the champions who slow it down for everyone.
