6:30am Update: While most streets are now open, we will have some that remain closed during your morning commute as crews work to clear the roadways of trees. Akron's 3-1-1 call center opens at 7am if you need to report any issues. Please use caution on the roadways.

Thanks to Akron Police, Akron Fire Department, & our service crews as they helped those who were stranded, blocked flooded roadways & identified areas with downed trees & other traffic blocks. I'm thankful to report there was no loss of life or injuries reported due to the storm. (2/5)

If you believe you had a sewer backup in your basement, you can also call 3-1-1 and crews will work to respond & inspect the situation. Crews can also drop off gloves & sanitizer for more minor backups. Please be patient as our crews work to respond to this large event. (4/5)

Yesterday, October 5th, we got married along a bend in the Cuyahoga River. It’s been the joy of our lives to fall in love with each other and to now take these next steps as husband and wife. Thank you to everyone who has shared in our happiness during this very special time.
