رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا جب دو مسلمان تلواریں لے کر ایک دوسرے کے مقابل آجائیں تو قاتل اور مقتول دونوں جہنم میں ہوں گے۔ صحابہ نے عرض کیا: یا رسول اللہ ﷺ! قاتل تو ٹھیک ہے، مقتول کیوں؟ آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا: "وہ بھی اپنے بھائی کو قتل کرنے کی نیت رکھتا تھا۔ (بخاری و مسلم)

جنگ میں فتح صرف ایک وہم ہوتی ہے؛ کیونکہ ہر فریق کچھ نہ کچھ کھو دیتا ہے، اور انسانیت سب سے بڑا نقصان اٹھاتی ہے۔
