On today’s edition of #stufftomessaroundwhenyourebored ... mapping LFO rates to the X and Y positions of #GRMTools really gives you that “movement” sensation in your Whoosh design. #sd94miccheckyo

Ahh... the fundamentals 🤍 Fun fact: 20 years before Edison invented the phonograph, the “phonoautograph” -invented by Édouard-Léon Scott de Martinville- had already successfully transcribed atmospheric pressure changes (sound) into “readable” information... no playback, though.

Have you ever watched a film and be like: “Hey! I should’ve heard that, what happened there?” But couldn’t actually answer what or why? Apparently, The Academy can’t either.

Tidying up my backups today I found this Foley note for Roma. Alfonso not only wanted every extra in the movie to have her/his own dialogue lines, each of the extra's FS had to be in perfect sync. We used very few group FS tracks and only on the extreme long shots. #foley #Roma

It's funny how "woke" and "red-pilled" are the same exact term but the woke people hate the red-pilled people and the red-pilled people hate the woke people. You'd think two groups with access to the complete truth would be friends!
