SATURDAY AM: Who better to open up the first full day of the Festival than Pulitzer Prize-winner Jennifer Egan. Ed Yong took the stage after to talk animal senses & pandemic reporting. Luis Alberto Urrea, David Treuer, Sally Denton, & Michael McGarrity lead us into the afternoon

SATURDAY PM: Nana Kwame Adjei-Brenyah stirred audiences, Don Usner, Lucy Lippard, & Stanley Crawford told stories of village life, & Laila Lalami took the big stage w/ Priyanka Kumar. Closing the spectacular day, John Irving read to audiences from his latest unpublished work.

SUNDAY AM: Gillian Flynn discussed unlikeable characters, David Quammen chatted w/ Mark Bryant. Luis Alberto Urrea & Denise Chávez paid homage to Rudolfo Anaya. Ingrid Rojas Contreras talked “The Man Who Could Move Clouds,” Beth Macy conversed w/ Hampton Sides on “Dopesick."

SUNDAY PM: Diana Gabaldon brought laughter to the big stage, Manuel Muñoz inspired audiences & Namwali Serpell discussed “The Furrows.” Legendary alpinist, activist, author, & Patagonia founder Yvon Chouinard brought Festivalgoers to their feet in a conversation with Jon Krakauer
