CardioNerds Journal Club This finding provides support for use of aspirin (as part of dual antiplatelet therapy) in the earliest periods post PCI. Given findings from other studies evaluating early transition from dual to antiplatelet monotherapy, aspirin (up to 1 month) is beneficial.

In addition, most bleeding was access site bleeding which probably has more to do with the periprocedural antiplatelet and anticoagulant meds than the subacute oral meds.
