CardioNerds Journal Club This finding provides support for use of aspirin (as part of dual antiplatelet therapy) in the earliest periods post PCI. Given findings from other studies evaluating early transition from dual to antiplatelet monotherapy, aspirin (up to 1 month) is beneficial.

Alison L. Bailey, MD CardioNerds CardioNerds Journal Club I agree. The Prasugrel dosing is low and isn't used in the US. In addition, most bleeding was access site bleeding which probably has more to do with the periprocedural antiplatelet and anticoagulant meds than the subacute oral meds. Limiting IIBIIIA, high radial access= ↘️🩸

Papyrus in LAD, having wire in diagonal to guide puncture, fenestration. Ringer now available in US, essentially an inflatable guide extension sized to the vessel, controls the perforation while maintains perfusion, assists stent delivery. Gives you time to think, call for help!
