Severstal is now a supplier of finished products made from its own rolled metal, a first for Russian metallurgy. We have now reached an exciting milestone, delivering more than 10,000 tons of metal products manufactured according to partner schemes.

Severstal reduces environmental impact and improves the safety of metal etching equipment in Cherepovets by introducing fiberglass containers with a special coating to store the regenerate for pickling units No.3 and No.4, which are stored with hydrochloric acid.

In another company first, Severstal has completed a delivery of large-diameter pipes (LDPs) to Greece. The pipes were produced at the Izhora Pipe Mill and had an AWWA C-210 standard coating applied to the inside of the pipes in order to meet the client’s specific requirements.

In September, Severstal will participate in Gastech Exhibition & Conference, the international energy exhibition and conference. We will present its innovative products, comprehensive offerings to companies and professionals working in the production.

Severstal acquires intellectual rights to innovative rolled steel materials from Arcanum Alloys (more than 40 patents and patent applications). We plan to launch a pilot for the production of rolled products with diffusion alloying in Cherepovets by the end of 2021.

Severstal delivers 6 thousand tons of large-diameter pipes to Peru 🇵🇪. The pipes were manufactured according to the API 5L PSL 1. Severstal uses its own rolled metal to build the pipes. Once shipped from the port of St. Petersburg, the LDPs were delivered to to the port of Ilo.
