Today we went afloat to honour & remember the men and women of the Thames who gave their lives for our freedom, in war and in service upon the river. Joined by a #flotilla of river operators & emergency services, we held a solemn #remembrance service. #LestWeForget

Another little gem from the bay today… I’ve been hoping to find one of these for a while. It’s the final ship register published before the war, a clear snapshot of the vessel landscape immediately before the conflict began — preserved just as it was before everything changed.
