#SB5703, aka the Toxics-free Cosmetics Act, just passed the Senate 26-21. This is Sen. Mona Das's bill to ban certain toxic chemicals in cosmetic products here in WA, expanding safety protections for both consumers and the planet. #WaLeg

We passed the #ToxicsFreeCosmeticsAct today!!! This is my bill to prohibit certain harmful chemicals from use in common cosmetics, a measure to keep both consumers & our planets safe & healthy. Proud that we could send it on to the House today!! #WaLeg
