2/ 💊Preconception counseling should include a discussion about the risks and benefits of pregnancy for all females of childbearing age who are receiving maintenance dialysis

3/ 👇Here is an overview of permitted and contraindicated medication during pregnancy ‼️Teratogenic medications should be discontinued at least 6 weeks before planned conception

4/ In more advanced gestational ages, peritoneal dialysis becomes difficult due to increasing size of the uterus, although the peritoneal membrane continues to maintain the clearance and UF capability during pregnancy 👇here are a few adjustments in pregnancy

5/ In pregnancy, intensive hemodialysis is recommended, as it is associated with better fetal and maternal outcomes 🎯Up to 36 weekly dialysis hours is recommended for women, targeting pre-dialysis serum BUN of < 50 mg/dl
