I feel bad for Starmer. Heโ€™s a decent and intelligent guy. I hate that the rot in the polls seemed to start instantly with his response to the Southport riots, which says a lot about the sorry state (and trajectory) of our country when it was exactly the right response.

Dear Labour MPs, Keir Starmer isn't your enemy, the media is your enemy. Show some backbone and defend the man who bought Labour into government after 14 years in the wildness and has done more in 18 months for families than the tories did in 14 years. #C4News

Keir Starmer is right to choose Europe, right to choose young people, and right to choose the future. I'm with our Labour Prime Minister on the key choices.

You only have to go and look at the Reform lot right now to know exactly what their next move will be. Labour MPs are handing Reform a victory here.

I hope every single Labour MP with a backbone and a brain backs Keir Starmer and puts a swift end to the media frenzy. The media want a Reform government. The country needs a stable government.

Final thought tonight: Reform and Conservative sources are jubilant. Their plan all along has been to try to help destabilise Starmer so much that Labour MPs force him out, believing all along that a change of leader will bring chaos from which they wonโ€™t recover.

If Labour think changing PM will help, it wonโ€™t. The media will hound and hate whoever takes Starmerโ€™s place just as much. For some reason, they have a desperate desire to see Farage become PM. They are not acting in the national interest.
