Even after 8 years living here I'm still occasionally blown away by Office of the Chief Executive NHSScotland. Went to the pharmacy to buy an over the counter product, instead, two minutes later, I walked out with a free prescription equivalent without even having to ask #ourNHS #loveScotland

The only analogue clock in my house has run out of battery and is stopped at five-to-midnight. Feels less like a failed chronological device and more like an accidental commentary about the state of the world...

Academic tweeps - has anyone used Zotero and Jabref before? I like JR - only complaint is lack of Overleaf support. Z has that but seems like it's less capable with Bibtex? Any comments/recommendations appreciated! #referencing #AcademicChatter PhD_Genie

Wonderful to see so many people at #EdinburghPride but disappointed at the lack of speeches this year when there is so much that needs to be said. Also really disappointed in the accessibility - almost no info on the website and a broken lift at Teviot, not exactly pride for all.

Hey Lothian Buses - just a reminder that your passengers are people not "a wheelchair". Having the driver loudly refer to me as "a wheelchair" to other passengers in a couple of occasions is incredibly demeaning
