The Captain's Wall was an installation concept for Bait & Switch, a seafood bar in Philly. They wanted to do something fun on an open wall so we found a bunch of old frames and filled them with the most historic, well-know captains. Who's your favorite captain on the wall?

A sampling of the illustration work we have been messing with for Black Cactus, a coastal Mexican-inspired restaurant down the shore in Avalon, NJ.

Filling in the blanks a bit to test out this email template system for a taqueria & dive bar. Still figuring out the 'vibes', but we're leaving space for them...

Working out some type lock-ups for sidebars on the digital menu boards we're designing for Sonny's in Philly. Next step will be adding some motion to the typography overlayed with video clips of staticky vintage TV grain to bring things to life.

Too coincidental not to share! Within just a few minutes of posting about current work we’re doing with Sonny’s, an old project that we did for them a few years ago drove right past me.

Illustrations are used at various touch-points in Black Cactus' brand & fall within a line-drawing style using vector graphics created as outlines w/ varied line weights & no shading. Here's a sampling from the library of artwork that was created at SEDSO #wearentillustrators

The digital menu displays for Sonny's will be installed in front of the hood above the cheesesteaks & burgers being cooked It's a big stainless steel kitchen hood that we'd like to 'neutralize' w/ some sort of constructed background Considering basic painted woodwork backers...

Looks like we're going this direction for the Blind Fox Vineyard landing page. Got great feedback from them and we'll be moving this design over to development next week. Designed SEDSO DESIGN

Received some test samples this week for the wine labels we’ve been working on for Blind Fox Vineyard. Combined printed elements with a ‘blind’ emboss and deboss on textured eggshell label paper. It’s starting to feel real!

Finally got my hands on some of the new Hex Jerky packaging we’ve been working on for a while at SEDSO! The design is cool and all, but the beef jerky is next level. 100% grass-fed beef and super clean ingredients only. Shipping throughout the US. Jerky subscriptions coming

Everything Old is New Again! Got something fresh in the queue for Silk City in Philly, a rework of a thing we first designed more than a decade ago. We’ve hit the point in our journey where we’re starting to redesign our own work.
