Children crave structure & routine in their lives. Set limits, but let them explore within those boundaries so they can be independent.

With children, always follow through with a stated consequence. Children learn to take you seriously & trust what you say to be true.

Children know when they are testing your limits. They do it intentionally to see how far they can push you & what they can get away with.

Friday June 1st is a PA Day for school age children. Send them to Seasons "Art Express Day" where they can be creative & have fun all day!

When a child needs behaviour guidance, make sure they hear & understand your expectations, & the set consequences if they are not followed.

Children want & need to be heard and respected. When they feel they are not be listened to, they can feel frustrated and belittled.

Always strive to help children feel good about themselves and what they do. Aim to promote their positive self-image and esteem.

Tonight 6-8pm, we are proudly hosting a celebration of artwork fundraiser. All proceeds from the sales will be donated to Academy of Lions.

Big thanks to everyone who came out and supported our fundraiser last night. Overall, it was very successful & the youth had a great time.

Children are very smart. Do not underestimate what they can do or understand. Always be patient and willing to listen to their ideas.
