Chuck D Pete Rose Cincinnati Reds National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum โšพ Way cool...sat ringside w/Mr. Rose at boxing match in CA, couldn't have been cooler...sad about the 'ban,' but w/respect to the HOF, he didn't need them; his numbers, his hustle speak volumes. You're on a whole 'nother base path now. RIP. Thank you for the share, Sir.

As awful as this injury was, I cannot fathom having to play on those surfaces. Rest in peace to the all time hits leader Pete Rose.

Dikembe Mutombo and Pete Rose dying on the same day is really soul crushing. Iโ€™ve always had an affinity for both of them.

Not Gaetti Iโ€™m honest about my opinion of Pete Rose. Never liked him. Just couldnโ€™t stand him. I also believe he benefited a lot by playing in an era with astroturf. His home field always was astroturf I believe, and at that time many parks in National league had turf.

The Scene Vault Podcast Rick, I wore the 14 playing baseball as a kid because of Pete Rose. Love him or hate him, he was the best all around player who ever played the game.

2 handshakes I will never forget -- John Madden & Pete Rose. I didn't know much about either when we met. Certain energy about those guys, their presence. May they rest in peace.
