I wish they'd hype up wololo legacy more in aoe4. I feel like the scene is so quiet now that road to wololo is done, and all the streamers are practicing in pup where they can't show their games. I don't even have streams to watch now in between the tournament weeks :(

This is a terrible precedent. The government is going to get bit in its own arse with this. They're taking the wrong action to tackle the issue. If the ISPs mess with TLS, they're basically breaking trust. We can no longer safely do banking, commerce, etc online.

Hey MCMC you are literally asking ISPs to commit MitM attacks on their own customers and business clients. Who in their right mind wants to invest in a country with such risk.

Spectacularly daft decision. The entire ministry not only should answer for this, they should be overhauled. Nope, "public safety" is not a sufficient excuse. Look through the quote tweets and you'll see many angry IT specialists and techies having something to say about this.

Kalau takda public DNS dulu takda nya orang dapat baca Sarawak Report/Medium etc nak tahu pasal 1MBD. Patut dulu Najib buat apa yang current govt buat. Barulah tak kantoi.

In this case, the eavesdropper is the Malaysian government, which also has lofty ambitions to be the hub for datacenter in this region. Is all that data safe from the increasingly powerful Communications Ministry and this apparent endorsement of man-in-the-middle attacks?

Semua orang patut lawan benda ni. Bayangkan satu hari nanti dengan satu arahan je website favorite korang mcm YouTube tiba2 terus tak boleh akses kat Malaysia. With a flip of a switch. Hello. Aku tak undi PH untuk benda mengarut mcm ni ok.

There comes a point when an overbearing controlling Government crosses the line. I hope these companies consider legal action the moment it doesn't make any commercial or security sense anymore.

Nazri Ishak ๐Ÿ‡ฒ๐Ÿ‡พ (@techsupremo) 's Twitter Profile Photo

Copyright violation report je la dekat website owner. Yg pegi tutup the whole website's access tu dah kenapa? Who advises you on these? MCMC? I doubt you have the technical knowledge in terms of this issue. I even doubt your capability as a Communications Minister.

Soal DNS ni paling mengecewakan mestilah ahli ahli Parlimen DAP Malaysia. Senyap je tak berbunyi. Website official DAP sebelum ni siap ajar rakyat Malaysia cara nak guna public DNS supaya boleh buka website yang diblock oleh MCMC.

Dulu DAP ajar kita untuk pakai Google DNS. Bila dah jadi govt, dia yg tak kasi guna google DNS. Lepas tu tanya orang website mana yang diblock. Zaman ni, Insider dah tutup, Insight pun dah takde. So, nak buat apa beri orang pakai google DNS ye tak? dapmalaysia.org/unblockmcmc/?sโ€ฆ

Freedom aside, the DNS redirection policy is immensely damaging economically. I don't think it's an understatement to say that 2 years of building attractiveness to investors has been undone in 1 swoop. Many Msians have no idea how huge of a red flag this is to tech companies.

Compiling a thread of elected Malaysian representatives who publicly spoke out against DNSgate. If I miss anyone, please tag them in the thread. Hopefully this list shall be longer than I assume.

Received a last-minute invite to my work email on Sunday night (which I don't check on weekends). Then tried calling to ask me to come this morning. The audacity to expect me to drop everything for their poor planning! No thanks. Dodged that chaos. This should not be condoned.
