It's Childhood Cancer Awareness Month 🏥💛Every day our member hospitals care for 1,718 kids with cancer. Kids like Nolan, who was diagnosed with retinoblastoma. He completed chemotherapy at CHRISTUS Children's. Nolan now loves reading, playing baseball, and practicing karate.

My colleagues are seeing this every day now. Pts w advanced cancers only able to get “some” care in an ED… because of course we CANNOT do primary care, or chronic oncology care in an ED. Costs system so much more… but worse: it costs Albertans their LIVES.
