Blindness organizations disgusts me sometimes. Maybe that's why I've never felt at home with any of them.

But they pull the same crap as any other political organization, so I'm not sure why I think they should be held to a higher standard.

For caring about accessibility in mainstream companies, my perception is that Google < Microsoft < Apple.

But that's changing. There's cool people at MSFT publicly working for accessibility in their products, while AAPL seems to have lost drive.

Joining Academia to do research is like joining the mafia to learn Italian.
