This week @seanflemingtd witnessed the vibrant Irish community in Rome from the high energy of RomeHiberniaGAA, the rich history at the Irish College & launching the new IrelandinRome map. He had talks in the Vatican with Cardinal Parolin on bilateral relations & global issues.

Today we signed an agreement with the Pontifical Irish College to digitise former Vice Rector & Rector Mons John Hagan’s papers 1904-1930 in the presence of Seán Fleming These documents will be a source of rich historical study of the period for years to come 📚

🏗️Building started on 60,243 new homes in 2024. That's up 84% from the 32,801 recorded in 2023. 🏘️This equates to, on average, 239 new homes commenced every working day during 2024. 📈This is the highest number of annual residential commencements since records began in 2014.
