Top notch post game thoughts from Rory Stewart. Shame that the tournament won’t give qualifiers the penthouse suite cibegyptiansquashopen.net/qf-1-rory-stew…

Tough to see the new Diamond tier events which is supposed to bring more prestige and buzz when the stands are outright empty. Beyond prize money, tournament promoters need to ensure attendance as a requirement if we're going to bring bigger exclusive events PSA Squash Tour

Been honestly enjoying the viewing from traditional courts at the Egyptian Open. Gives you a better understanding of the power and pace these players are playing at that I don't think glass court shows. Do think its great that once in a while we get exposure to it.

This is pure chaos of a match between Mostafa Asal v Shorbagy. Thought the purpose of strictness from refs was for continuity. The need to insert themselves for every minute detail is contradicting that. This new initiative needs to be revised.

Take a look. How on earth is this productive. Taking 5 minutes to even explain/justify why we’re handing out conduct warnings and conduct strokes. PSA Squash Tour

These glass floors are not it. Players are slipping everywhere and if it isn’t suiting the players why did we switch from wooden floors. Glass floors make the whole court overwhelming/confusing compared to wood. Curious to hear players thoughts PSA Squash Tour

Not sure when the last time we've seen such young players on the men's side have success in 25-50k tournaments. Refreshing to see back-to-back weeks of Mohamed Zakaria and Jonah Bryant take titles in quite a stacked field of players in the top 20-40 range. Highly impressive.

Outside the top 2, this is the best match up in the men's game right now. No shenanigans or gamesmanship, just pure squash. Complete contrast of styles and both convinced they could beat each other. PSA Squash Tour ToC Squash

Why is PSA Squash Tour so adamant about implementing these glass floors? Over the past year, it’s become so apparent that they’re causing players a lot of discomfort when trying to move on them. Glad Mohamed ElShorbagy spoke up about it, hopefully PSA Squash Tour switches back to wood

Can someone explain how, for certain pick-ups or balls being in/out, the referee and PSA Squash Tour can’t check it — but the commentary team can watch it back and review it themselves. Makes no sense

Jonah takes care of business in 4 against Dessouky. Two seriously testing rounds and shows his consistency. Monster battle between Momen and Marche. We could really see a 19 year old make QF of World Championships. PSA Squash Tour PSA World Championships

Not much being said about France’s Melvil Scianimanico. Another young star in the making on the PSA Squash Tour Recent results been quite outrageous. What a time for young talent this season

Not all doom and gloom with Farag’s retirement. Jonah takes game 1 against Asal. Seems that the game is going to have to adapt back to the more attacking aggressive play. Only way to match the standard that Asal has set. Saw it with Aly Abou and now with Jonah. British Open
