Thoughts on how to spend some much needed non patient care time : 1. about.citiprogram.org/en/homepage/ ^ people on here complain about studies all the time.. here's your shot ^ 2. apta.org/CSM/Submission… -> you miss 100% of the shots you don't take. Shoot your shot

Our hospital floor is full and we need open beds for the imminent COVID surge. But multiple patients of mine can’t leave the hospital because they’re awaiting prior auths from commercial insurers. Insurance companies are clogging up the system in the middle of a damn pandemic.

An unprecedented number of participants led to audio challenges on our webinar tonight. We will rerecord it tomorrow and post it at APTA.org. An FAQ is also in the works. Plus, there's a Facebook Live event tomorrow at 2:00 pm ET: apta.org/Webinar/20/3/M…

We would love to be able to continue to provide services to our patients at home who are unable to come into the clonic. Governor Janet Mills this would be a great asset to our patients!

Responding to APTA advocacy, CMS is providing greater flexibility. APTA summary to come, but the interim rule includes PTs among providers that can furnish telehealth services and is allowing the performance of maintenance therapy by a PTA under Part B: cms.gov/files/document…

Remember when CMS added therapy codes for telehealth but didn’t recognize PTs as TH providers? CMS didn’t get here on their own. Without advocacy of APTA-including members-this never happens. One visible example, but APTA fights4us 24/7/365. It’s why membership matters. Always!

Imaging is not always necessary with episodes of #backpain. A #physicaltherapist can properly diagnose and treat the root cause of the issue to decrease pain and prevent it from returning. #choosePT #GetPT1st #arthritis #healthy
