What a joy our SEAT Leadership Academy session was today - a fab way to end the week ♥️ Such a variety of topics and learning opportunities - coaching, personality colours, wellbeing, recognition, research, adaptive teaching and even a bit of Brene Brown!

Today’s Staff Trust Day was an exciting and important day. We launched our four brand new SEAT values! We can now share that our new SEAT values are… 💙Belonging 💚 Compassion 💜 Curiosity 💛 Empowerment Will be posting each day delving into why each value is special to us

Our first new SEAT value is… 💙 Belonging 💙 Creating a community where everyone belongs. 🪜 Our next step? Introducing fortnightly ‘Lyfta time’ to enable children to explore the world beyond their community.

Our second new SEAT value is… 💙Compassion💙 Nurturing wellbeing through care and compassion. 🪜 Our next step to enhance Compassion at SEAT? With inclusivity in mind, reviewing how our environments are enabling everyone to succeed.

Our third new SEAT value is… 💜Curiosity💜 Inspiring all to explore their curiosity. 🪜 Our next step to enhance Curiosity at SEAT? Developing a more exploratory approach to learning through questioning and fostering enthusiasm and passion through the activities chosen.

Our fourth new SEAT value is… 🧡 Empowerment 🧡 Encouraging individuals through empowerment. 🪜 Our next step to enhance Empowerment at SEAT? Increasing the frequency of opportunity to hear and act on pupil, staff and parent voice.

A productive day yesterday focused on Talk For Writing! Learning walks showed this approach being developed really well across classes. Leaders then worked on planning sequences of brilliant writing lessons. Excited to see the impact of this in our children’s writing!

Coming together for this half term’s Leadership Academy! Crafting and honing leadership at all levels. Great to feel the buzz of collaborative learning.
