Well deserved award for Valley End Cricket Club Steve Redwood. AJ Sports Surrey Championship umpires always liked being appointed to a ground where great care was taken to prepare a good pitch and Steve would be around all day to assist.

New ECB umpires course offers excellent blended learning introduction to umpiring

Additional training sessions for newly qualified ECB umpires (or refreshers for existing umps) being held in Surrey in March.

The AJ Sports Surrey Championship League season starts tomorrow and we have Panel umpires appointed at all 1st XI games from the Premier Division to Division 4. And the forecast is good – let play begin.
