Honor Among Thieves was a solid movie, but I'm not sure the style really works for Star Trek. And, likewise, I'm fair certain JJ has already soured people on Star Trek cinematics, and Paramount sure as hell isn't helping the television side of things.

Sacred Cow Shipyards HAT works as a movie because it accurately portrays how D&D usually plays out. The only thing that would've made it better was an after credits scene of all the actors dressed as normal people sitting around a table with the director as the DM.
