Hot-Air Balloon competition- 6th grade Science classes built, tested, and launched hot-air balloons early last week. Finals today- The Rats (6L) VS. The Chickens (6B). The Rats won with overall hang-time of 18.5 seconds. St. Catharine School

Workshop Week in Science. Day 1- 8th grade cultured buttermilk and used it to make pancakes, extracted DNA from green split peas, and dissected diapers to remove the polymers to test the absorbency of the polymers. I say FUN! St. Catharine School SCS PTA St. Catharine Church
