MEET THE COHORT 👋 First up, meet our R.A., Lydia! The wonderful part of this experience is everyone apart of the program has individual internships catered to their future aspirations, yet pursuing these exciting adventures surrounded by a supportive group.

MEET THE COHORT 👋: Cassidy Woods Cassidy is our second introduction in the batch! Working at C-Span, one of the original and reliable D.C. media outlets has been super rewarding for her. Shoutout to Cassidy for making this graphic as well!

MEET THE COHORT 👋 : Logan Jefferies! Logan is heading into his senior year at Ohio University. On top of being a Media Production major, Logan is also pursuing a minor in marketing and a social media certificate.

MEET THE COHORT 👋 : Danny Murnin! Danny Murnin is fun-spirited with a driven character, minoring in political science on top of his journalism major. Originally all the way from Missouri, being a part of a cohort has made the adjustment to DC feel like home!

MEET THE COHORT 👋 : Maggie VanFleet! While DC offers a lot of political job routes, Maggie's internship covers more cultural and creative communities uniquely to the DC area by focusing on local events through collaboration with other locally based companies.

MEET THE COHORT 👋 : Jackson McCoy! Jackson works on the publication side of the platform by copywriting for the website and social media pages. He also helps promote their upcoming events in the DC area.

MEET THE COHORT 👋 : Liv Lauvray! Liv is a part of the communications team for a military defense government contractor this summer that specializes in technology. To support military efforts with tech solutions, Liv helps with social media and fact-checks alternate sources.

We had SO much fun watching the Nationals vs Reds game last weekend! Now the real question is who were we rooting for? 👀

Taking a second to celebrate National Intern Day! Our very own Reese Thompson got a shoutout on Scripps News national television yesterday. We are so very proud of everyone's hard work this summer! 👏

As the largest library in the world, the Library of Congress has been a big hit for the current study abroad students. It's filled with millions of famously known images and historical texts. PLUS, you can even study there surrounded by the gorgeous book shelves - truly stunning!

Group dinner + boat ride ⛵️🌊 We had so much fun last week getting dinner in Georgetown followed by a group boat ride on the Potomac, passing by the monuments and watching the beautiful sunset 🌅 Best way to end the weekend! 💌

When they say Bobcats are everywhere…they mean it! We had SO much fun attending the OU Alumni reunion in DC. The group got to expand their horizons by meeting Bobcats who work in different occupations in the area including a game of Bobcat bingo! Go Bobcats!
