As we create all these autonomous vehicles and AI etc, people wonder if they will lead to our demise.

Based on current inaction, I’m more inclined to think climate change will lead to our demise, leaving these robots alone on the Earth, wondering where all the humans went.

Lord Rose, Chairman of Asda, criticises Brexit

'We are the architects of our own demise. And our own demise started in 2016 when we made the ridiculous vote to come out of Europe'

'Now, you would say, well, you're an old moaning remainer, but of course I am. But of course, if…

The dance with death continues on my walks to work.

Another zebra crossing, another driver who came screeching to halt with his bumper over the line and inches from my knees.

Every UK Prime Minister since (and including) Johnson has proven one thing to me - it is actually possible, against all odds, to hate a PM more than I hated Thatcher.

To fellow geologists/climate scientists

As far as I know, neither global temp nor atmospheric CO2 levels have climbed as fast as they are doing now, in the entirety of Earth history - except perhaps during transient large impact events

If you know otherwise, please DM 👍😃

This is just awful news. I love that place. Cardiff will lose something vital if it were to close, not only from the perspective of our city’s culture, but also as one of the last places where you can go to learn stuff and enjoy exhibits for free. It’s open for everyone to enjoy.

Hundreds of places across Europe have seen their hottest April day on record this weekend.

Temperatures well above average summer maxima and not even half way through April.

Great quote from Fallout:

We did not 'storm' the museum, we walked in peacefully as visitors

'Chaos' did not 'erupt'

We were not 'armed' with placards, we were holding them

Having spent about four months reviewing ESG reports from a number of high profile raters in an attempt to draw some conclusions, I’m having all the feels for the closing moments of ‘Burn After Reading’.
