I’ve never seen a movie in 4DX (and probably never will), but the fact they designed a 4DX presentation for this movie is bizarre.

#BackToTheFuture turns 40 today! Bob Zemeckis, Bob Gale, Alan Silvestri, Michael J. Fox, Christopher Lloyd, and Dean Cundey created a timeless trilogy. The first is THE BEST; perfectly crafted. Part II is MY FAVORITE; chaotic and fun. Part III is the COZIEST. ⚡️#BTTF40

#JurassicWorldRebirth is painfully lame. The characters are shallow, with shoehorned arcs. At least it's better than the last three. Shot on film (yay!), with some terrific action set pieces. The final sequence somewhat lands, but only because of the reuse of John Williams theme.

This was the best moment in #JurassicWodldRebirth - hallow and soulless film, but beautiful moment.

I think people forget that the original #JurassicWorld made over $1B in the international box office alone. Curious if the new movie will break that globally.

Why are so many reporters lying and saying #DuneMessiah is being shot with IMAX film cameras? It is being shot *digitally* on cameras that were certified by IMAX, just like the first two. Nolan is the ONLY one who is shooting ENTIRELY with IMAX film. Is it for clicks/attention?

I find it so funny how yesterday all of other movies reporters were giving their followers false information, and I seemingly was the only one to call them out on their misleading bullshit. Glad Variety came in, and shut those idiots down.

This has been the summer of audiobooks for me. I fell out of love of reading fictional novels a long time ago. But audiobooks this year have really brought me back. I especially love when the narrator puts a lot of passion into their reading and they add atmospheric music.

I’m gonna say it. Linus Sandgren is miles better than Greig Fraser. And if he is shooting on film (like some sites prematurely stated as “fact,” aka: guessed/lied about), we are for a real treat!!

#Superman is fantastic! As someone who dislikes the overwhelming majority of superhero movies, I was surprised. The movie is so fun and moves at a lightning pace. I’ve never seen a superhero movie handle human relationships so well. Marvel movies feel so asexual. See it in IMAX.

I got them!!!! I can’t believe it!!!! #TheOdyssey in IMAX 70mm on Thursday at 2:00pm! … in the same row Christopher Nolan sits at Universal CityWalk too. Do I need to assign these tickets to a beneficiary in my will? Let’s prey to the Greek gods I don’t drop dead in a year.

#Eddington is Ari Aster’s satirical look at the trainwreck that was 2020, taking shots at both sides... very funny. The last act goes completely batshit, and I was gripped... crazy! But the chaos feels unfocused, and it doesn't come together. Easily Ari Aster's weakest.

Rewatched #SinnersMovie on 4K disc on my OLED in Dolby Vision+Atmos. Damn! I don’t see another movie coming close to winning Best Picture/Director at the Oscars right now. If this was released later in the year (maybe October), it might have stood an even better chance.

It’s going to be very strange if this is marketed as his typical “3D experiential event” thing he’s been doing for both his new movies (and old).

I had to leave WEAPONS 20 minutes in. 80% of the audience was on their phone. 50% were talking.

#WeaponsMovie is a disappointment. Incredible setup! Structure works, but feels unoriginal. An image that appears in Josh Brolin's dream seemed to promise something profound, but ends up leading to a random supernatural angle that kills momentum. Cregger is an alright director.
