Outdoor dining created a buzz in our vibrant towns and cities while keeping restaurants on their feet during Covid. I'm proud that lawmakers on both sides of the aisle voted to pass a bill extending outdoor dining another 13 months, and am even more proud to have signed it today.

Thank you Governor Ned Lamont and all of our legislators for helping to pass Expanded Outdoor Dining in CT for another 13 months! Outdoor Dining has saved thousands of restaurants over the past two years and this extension will continue to help our industry as we begin our recovery!

I’m crushed to learn about the tragic loss of State Rep. Quentin “Q” Williams this morning. Just last night we were together at the Governor’s Ball talking with restaurateurs from all over the state and his optimism & smile lit up the room! Sending love and prayers to his family.
