As part of our Hazelcast hackathon, I integrated Netty as a replacement for our custom networking and ran some benchmarks on 4 powerful ec2 instances (3 clients, 1 server). I saw up to double-digit throughput improvements of Netty NIO vs Netty io_uring; pretty amazing!
