Must admit with the new case system, dealing with domestics is quite simply a nightmare. Held on for hours today and totally fatigued. Lost a full rest day that I needed for recovery. Just another thing thats made the job harder I suppose…

Male grappling officer’s leg, officer tries to get free - failing to get free needs help. Loud woman shouting and screaming at officers followed by a group of angry persons. Maybe he was arrested for something unrelated to your march? Cowardice treatment to the police.

I utterly despise how unarmed officers routinely attend these types of calls up and down the country. Health and Safety of officers is often ignored or gambled with. I would not like to be the boss trying to justify unarmed officers going to an incident like this.

Should Cops just resign themselves to the fact that they'll be subject to complaints on a monthly basis for doing their job, and that their Force is so scared to say "No this is not a complaint"

Some interesting points about Scottish Policing: Derisory and dragged out pay negotiations every year under-funded and seriously un-resourced Over worked and do partners agencies jobs Removed good-will twice in a 5 year period Highest taxed officers in the UK

1109 + me… What a terrible year this has been for my relationship with Policing. I am left utterly perplexed about what policing actually is anymore.

Awful. Suicide of cops ‘under investigation’ or having recently been is very real. ‘The job’ often becomes who we are, a threat to it is therefore existential. Allegations in policing are too often subject to sensationalist & out of proportion. That doesn’t help either.
