Well done to our girls soccer team who finished runners up in the County at the FAI Schools 5 a side competition. It took a penalty shootout to separate the two teams who finished joint second. Thankfully our girls came out on top! FAI Carlow 🇮🇪⚽️🇬🇳

Thanks a million to Mr Henry Roberts, from Leighlin Credit Union, who visited the school today to present our prize winners from the Credit Union Art Competition.

Well done to the boys and girls who took part in the St. Abban's A.C. Athletics events last Friday. They won the team trophy for the first time ever!

Our wonderful camogie team enjoyed a lovely treat on their way back from Clonegal today!

Our camogie team played a great game, in awful conditions, against Kildavin today. The girls gave it everything but were beaten by a few points. A special word of thanks to our 6th class girls who played their last game for the school. They were brilliant!

Ms Byrne brought some very lucky girls to collect our latest Green Flag today!

As part of #BikeWeek24 we had a Cycle to School morning where we all met in the village and cycled up to school. Thank you to the Gardaí for their assistance in closing the road for a short period so that we could travel in safety.

A great day today as we bought four teams to Moneenroe to play the local school in a Gaelic Football blitz. The teams were mixed with boys and girls from 3rd to 6th class(ish!). The emphasis was on fun and participation. Everybody played every minute of action!

The infant classes had a great day on their tour to Lullymore Heritage & Discovery Park today.

3rd and 4th class had a great day in Clara Lara yesterday on their tour.

Wonderful to see one of our pupils selected to represent her county! Well done, Muireann!

Well done to Muireann, who was part of the successful Carlow team, which took part in the Leinster football blitz yesterday in Parnell Park.
