On Wednesday, October 10th, SCMS host Carver in our final football game of the season. We will be recognizing our 8th grade football players and cheerleaders before the game. This game will also be our Pink Out Game to support breast cancer awareness. Go Redskins!!!

The middle school swim team got off to a great start this past weekend. A lot of swimmers set personal best and two boys relays teams even broke school records by over 10 seconds. The Boys team finished in 3rd place overall.

Update from Swimming—MS boys broke their own school records in Medley and Free Relays . Chris Brown broke the school record in 100 Free and several best times from both MS girls and boys including Aidan Crutchfield, Aiden DeGiorgio, Ryan Zapatka, Lilliana Acosta, Landon Russell.

Great night of athletics at SCMS. Girls basketball won against Greene County, Boys basketball won against Greene County , and wrestling defeated Davis Middle. Thank you to our cheerleaders for cheering our basketball teams on to victory!!!!

Basketball, wrestling, and swimming will be back in action this Friday and Saturday!!!!

SC MS swim team had an awesome performance at Carrollton Trojan Invite this weekend. Chris Brown broke school records in 200 IM and 100 Fly and the Boys 400 Relay where they beat the school record by 53 seconds! Boys brought home the trophy with 1st overall.

MS team with combined scores got 1st overall. PR’s by Katie Oliver, Aiden Degiorgio, Liliana Acosta, Kendall Whitley , Madison Bailey, Caleb Ray, Tyler Stutchman, Nasir Christian, Caleb Ray, Sean Crews, and Aidan Crutchfield. Top 5 finishes by Chris Brown and Kendall Whitley!!

Middle school softball tryouts will be held on July 28 and July 29 from 4-6PM each day. Tryouts will be held at the field across the street from South Walton Recreation Department.
