I enjoyed LITTLE DEATHS, a comedy produced by Nuthatch and Scissor Kick, Summerhall last night. Beautifully written by Amy Powell Yeates, it tells the story of two young girls who become best friends in primary school and their changing relationship over subsequent decades.

It’s beautifully written by Amy Powell Yeates with such nuance and specificity that resonated deeply with me. A total joy that gets you right in the feels.

Our Artistic Director Stephanie has been in New York with Stage One for their Producer Exchange Programme. There's been lots of learning, lots of lovely connections being built, and a steady stream of transatlantic emails to keep things ticking over!

Stepping into the rehearsal room for a new project is always a joy but developing a completely new show that you've been talking about for many months is something else! We can't wait to reveal more. Here's a sneak (some might say small!) peek of what we've been up to this week!

2024! It’s been a busy year, with a few firsts. We’ve produced Catafalque, our first new writing commission; produced Little Deaths, our first co-production with Nuthatch; and most excitingly, this year Nicola Lawton joined us as Executive Producer! Bring on 2025!
