On Tuesday March 5th, Astrophysicist Jérôme Guilet and 5 other scientist activists will go on trial in Munich, Germany, for civil disobedience in resistance against Governments' inaction regarding the ongoing climate emergency. #ScientistsOnTrial #UniteAgainstClimateFailure

Doctor Hugo Raguet, French scientist in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science, will go on trial on March 5th in Munich for three non-violent direct actions in Scientist Rebellion's United Against Climate Failure campaign along with several other scientists #ScientistsOnTrial

During the action, Hugo beseeched onlookers and the public to listen to the science and consider the consequences of continuing on the path of business as usual: the collapse of society and widespread humanitarian crises. The scientists further urged the public to act with them.

Today's trial in Munich of six scientist activists ended without a sentence. For 2h30 scientists explained the climate emergency, greenwashing & criminal practices perpetuated by several companies & why it is the ethical duty of scientists to perform non-violent direct actions.
