We regretfully announce the death of Firefighter Keith Cashman. He was a member of the Fall River Fire Department from 2010 to 2015 and of the Framingham Fire Department from 2015 to 2025. He was a member of Group 3, Station 5, Rescue 1. RIP, brother. We’ll take it from here.

With profound sorrow, we announce the passing of Retired Firefighter Milton “Buddy” Wilson, whose commitment & spirit touched everyone he worked with. He dedicated over 24 years of service to the department & the citizens of Framingham, from 1969 until his retirement in 1993.

We are proud to announce that Group 4, Station 2 earned the Firefighter of the Year Award for their heroic actions at the Nicholas Road fire on December 30, 2024. Their courage and teamwork exemplify the best of FFD and the fire service as a whole. Congratulations to all! 👏

Today, we bid a fond farewell to Fire Mechanic James Babineau as he begins his well-deserved retirement. For nearly 15 years, Jimmy has been a crucial part of FFD, working behind the scenes to keep our apparatus & vehicles safe & operational. We wish him a long, happy retirement!

This morning, Framingham firefighters responded to a report of a vehicle that struck a building at 959 Concord St. Thankfully, no injuries were reported. While the impact caused significant damage to the façade and two windows, there was no structural compromise to the building.

Earlier this week, crews responded to 15 Howard Street for reports of heavy smoke in the area. Thanks to the swift actions of our Group 4 firefighters, the incident was quickly brought under control. Great work by all involved in keeping our community safe!
