Connection. Impact. Relationships. Reinvigorating. These are just a few of the words that describe our NE EC Workforce Leadership Cadre meeting this weekend. I can already see the ripple effects. This group is going to change the early childhood world!

Strongly agree with Dr. Shonkoff that optimism isn’t enough. We need a “bold early childhood agenda” with new strategies & alliances. Also loved Walter Gilliam’s point that we need to think systemically about how to weave current services/programs into a wider fabric. #ECE

Yesterday our Westside Pyramid Leadership team spent the day reviewing data, celebrating our successes, and planning for next year. This team continues to evolve and refine our work to build young children’s social-emotional development and address challenging behavior. #ECE

Came home with a full page of notes after the Buffett EC Institute PD for All Community Panel, but one of the most powerful statements was this: “I needed someone to see Joshua…they just saw the behaviors.” Engaging in supportive dialogue about challenging behaviors is so important.

My son was part of this program…we are very lucky to have it!👶🏼
