back after the inevitable christmas meltdown. weh. i can finally return to the thing that gives me the most joy in life - Latin 💕 ego desidero tu, et sine te tristis sum!!!

latin exam finished today! i think it went okay! i enjoyed the english to latin translation the most! and three hours was so generous!! lots of contemplation occurred. now we wait and see if i’m allowed to continue it next semester! (˘⌣˘)

oh! oh! also the seminar we had at university last week (week before?) was SO GOOD. it was about why classics scholars should watch the heracles films. it was so informative and insightful - and at times very amusing - i very much look forward to reading more from emma stafford!!

(by this i mean the book she’s working on, and some of the articles she mentioned in the seminar!)
