Guess who's back (back again) ... 😏

It’s been a year since I’ve been in the classroom, but exciting things are happening again. Look who took his 1st steps while helping mommy prep her room yesterday! 😍

A few key details: 1) I'll be teaching 7-9 ELA at Hodgeman County High this year; 2) I'm teaching/living in the came comm. for the first time and totally nervous about that; 3) my kid is still super extra cute. #meettheteacher

I always tell writing students to write what they’d love to come upon, whether it’s memoir, psyche thriller, history. If your heart is lifted, your mind enlivened, or your pulse quickens when you come upon a book or essay, it’s a DM from your very being. Push back your sleeves!
