I’ve lived in London for the last 18 months. Phone theft was as rampant then as it is today. And the fact that it’s taken this long for a serious combat plan to be put in place is a complete failure of city leadership. Not good enough.

The student loan system is one of the biggest financial scandals of our time. Sold as an ‘investment in your future’ but structure like a debt trap. A mis sold graduate tax. A system designed to keep graduates paying for decades, far more than we ever borrowed #studentloans

I pay an extra 15% tax each month because I went to university. Now I’m in my 30s, I’m seeing more clearly how our student loans system helps widen, not close, the gap.. Your parents’ income at the time you go to uni makes a big difference to your future financial security.
