Very disappointed there was a homicide in Yucca Valley, but I’m very proud of my Morongo Basin crew, specifically, Deputy Nicholas Hospodar who was really on his toes and safely stopped the suspect vehicle and preserved valuable evidence. Job well done! 👏🏻

Comforting to know that while most of us are sleeping at 2 a.m.😴 brave deputies like Shane Crowl are on the prowl. Deputy sheriffs are always out there keeping our communities safe by taking loaded guns and illegal drugs off the street. Bravo!

Cops For Kids Fly-In at @lluchildrens was a huge success. Thank you to everyone who came together and put smiles on the faces of kids who are fighting an illness. To the families and medical staff, thank you for what you do for these brave little ones.

Last night we officially kicked off Operation Consequences. Teams worked into the night arresting 22 suspects and taking 25 guns off the streets of Victorville. Watch for more to come #CrimeHasConsequences

Deputy Gonzalez is known to be very proactive. Today she contacted a convicted felon and took his gun away.

Should not have to say this, but don’t drink and shoot 🚫, especially in a residential area. Great job by the Morongo Basin weekend night shift for safely resolving the incident, making arrests and removing guns from the hands of people not responsible enough to have them.

Today Deputy Stumbo was working patrol in 29 Palms and saw a guy walking while carrying something wrapped in a pair of sweats. Turns out it was a loaded rifle. The convicted felon also had 15 grams of meth in his pocket. 🤦‍♂️

Our Morongo Basin family SHOWED UP! We had a great day honoring Sgt. Dominic Vaca who was killed here in Yucca Valley, two years ago. Special thanks to his family for spending the day with his San Bernardino County Sheriff brothers and sisters. The community support out here was awesome!

Last week, the San Bernardino CountySheriff’s Department Gangs/Narcotics Division seized over 115 pounds of fentanyl pills, equivalent to roughly 517,500 tablets. These pills are counterfeit pharmaceuticals containing fentanyl.
