Friends, I have an interview coming up for an assistant prof position at a university in the Netherlands (🥳🇳🇱) I'm wondering: are there any distinctive things about Dutch academic job interviews? Like, stuff that isn't covered by the advice you hear about US/UK job market? Thx!

I genuinely find it hard to understand how a person could find it probable that introspection gives them access to the fundamental nature of the universe. What sort of priors do they have?

Philosophers: Does anybody keep a list of good and bad philosophy youtube channels or similar? Students keep studying with really misleading videos they find online, and I want to warn/guide them better.

In my phil mind course, we worked through one of the most recently published textbooks. It was impressive and up to date on lots of topics, but way out of date on foundational topics such as computation and representation. 1/5
