Actually laughable. Double down on unachievable targets…! We only need 120,000 homes a year so it’s hardly surprising councils are struggling and anyway, they can’t make developers build.

There are serious questions to be answered about this debacle 🍃💚🍃

If houses won't sell, developers won't build, despite millions of planning permissions being approved. They'll just cherry-pick the most saleable sites and eke out build rates to keep prices high.
