People who reject the need for climate action often say "what's the big deal-it's been warmer before." But what paleoclimate data really shows us is how truly unprecedented and alarming is this experiment we're conducting with our planet, the only home we have.

We need local food producers and distributors including large corporations like Sysco, HEB, Walmart, and vendors who do business with govt entities such as ISDs to take food waste and its environmental impact seriously. Waste should not be part of their business model.
