Language features since #Java 8 with biggest bang for the buck (IMO): text blocks, records, sealed classes, code snippets in JavaDoc. Besides that: tons of runtime improvements (e.g. concurrent GC, eagerly uncommitting RAM, world-class diagnostics with JFR).

Finally in person at Kubecon_ in Amsterdam with 10.000+ attendees. Mind blowing what al happend with Kubernetes , the community and ecosystem since running K8S on RaspberryPI clusters in 2015.

Really great to finally meet one of the persons that are the reason for how I got into the Kubernetes space! Arjen Wassink, Ray Tsang and Lucas Käldström (moved to Bluesky) was really the reason for me and @mrjensens to write our master thesis on k8s and #RaspberryPis #KubeCon #CloudNativeCon
